Coalition for Affordable Healthcare in Ohio

 

The Coalition for Affordable Healthcare in Ohio is a network of organizations and individuals uniting stakeholders to secure to affordable, quality, accessible healthcare for all Ohioans. CAHO has come together around five principles:[1]

 

1. Health care coverage should be available to all.

2. Health care coverage should be continuous.

3. Health Care coverage should be affordable to individuals and families.

4. The strategy for achieving universal health coverage should be affordable and sustainable for society.

5. Health care coverage should enhance health and wellbeing by promoting access to high-quality care that is effective, efficient, safe, timely, patient-centered and equitable.

 

CAHO will secure health care for all Ohioans by: building a broad coalition of diverse statewide and local organizations, as well as individuals; educating policymakers and the public; and developing and enacting legislation, shaped by input from coalition members and the other stakeholders in the health care system.

 

The organization listed below agrees to endorse the Coalition for Affordable Healthcare in Ohio. We endorse the efforts of CAHO to secure affordable, quality, accessible health care for all Ohioans.
